Besides, Impact Guru, a Harvard Innovation Lab incubated fintech company, announced a seed round of USD 500,000 (about Rs 3.3 crore) from RB Investments, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, and Fundnel.
The Wedding Brigade in a statement issued here said that the capital will be allocated to enhance product and services offerings, growth activities and acquire talent.
The Wedding Brigade (earlier known as Indear) retailed wedding apparel, jewellery, gifts and other essentials.
It will soon expand to other cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, as well as introduce new categories such as photographers, caterers and more.
In case of Impact Guru, the capital raised will enable the firm to scale online crowd-funding for nonprofits, social enterprises and personal causes.
Moreover, Impact Guru and Fundnel, a Southeast Asia-based private investment platform, have also entered into a strategic partnership.

Similarly, DocsApp, an online doctor consultation player, has received a seed funding of USD 1.2 million (about Rs 7.9 crore) from Facebook's angel investors Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan and Japanese venture capital firm Rebright Partners.
Founded in 2015, DocsApp provides consultation to patients with a turnaround time of 30 minutes. Patients can chat with the doctor and share pictures and reports of the ailment with the doctors privately.
"DocsApp wants to bridge the gap between patients and doctors through this platform so that people can get expert consultation on demand," DocsApp Co-Founder and CEO Satish Kannan said.
Besides, IT startup firm LetReach has also raised a seed funding of USD 100,000 from affiliate marketing network firm vCommission.
"With LetReach, we have been able to help over 800 websites re-engage its users from over 24 countries. With vCommission coming on board, we hope to scale our user base to over 5,000 and win a slew of marquee clients in the e-commerce, deals and content space," LetReach Co-Founder Vipul Garg said in a statement.
The seed funding of USD 100,000 from vCommission will be utilised in strengthening the technology and expanding the company's reach in both the domestic and international markets, the company said in a statement.
