'The Witcher' anime spin-off in the works at Netflix
Streaming platform Netflix has confirmed that its is developing an anime spin-off of its latest Henry Cavill-fronted series "The Witcher".
The streamer shared the film's announcement on Twitter via its NX account.
"The rumours are true, a new Witcher story is in the works. The anime film, 'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf', will take us back to a new threat facing the Continent. Brought to you by the Witcher team @LHissrich and @BeauDeMayo, and Studio Mir the studio behind 'Legend of Korra'," the tweet read.
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who is also the showrunner on "The Witcher" series, expressed her excitement on the new project
