The 50-year-old author took to Twitter and in a fan-chat quipped that a "Harry Potter" opera or ice ballet is more likely to happen than a TV show.
"Right after the opera, Potter-on-ice and the interpretative dance version of Beedle the Bard #NotActuallyHappening," Rowling replied, when a fan asked about a potential TV series.
The author said the image of Voldemort, who is the archenemy of Harry Potter, doing a figure skating jump will haunt her.
"To all those begging for Potter-on-Ice: the image of Ice Voldemort performing the triple salchow will haunt my dreams tonight. #sick," she said.
The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston and will start approximately seven decades before Harry Potter's own adventures.
