The company will commission a 50 mw gas-based co-generation plant at RCF's facility in Thal, Maharashtra for captive power, it said in a filing to BSE.
It will also install waste heat recovery boilers downstream of the turbines to provide required stream for process, the company said.
Company's MD and CEO M S Unnikrishnan said, "We are glad to partner with RCF in its programme to improve energy efficiency. This order once again underlines Thermax's expertise in gas-based power plants for industry."
