The vehicle of an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) official was stolen here today by a gang which has been targeting the Chevrolet Tavera SUVs, police said.
A gang is stealing the Chevrolet Tavera SUVs, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (East) Kunwar Rashtradeep said.
The thieves fled with the ACB official's Chevrolet Tavera when his driver had parked it in the Lalkothi area to buy vegetables.
"A few similar crimes have been reported in the city," Rashtradeep added.
The official vehicle of a senior Intelligence Bureau (IB) official, also a Chevrolet Tavera, was stolen from near the Central Park area on May 15.
The DCP said that though the CCTV footage had not revealed anything concrete, arrests would be made soon.
