Three AAP leaders today claimed that they were detained by police while they were waiting outside the premises of Delhi Secreatariat to engage in a debate with Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, who was to come there to protest against power woes in the national capital.
"We were waiting for him so that we could debate and explain him that the root cause of existing power crisis was the agreements during that Sheila Dikshit government.
"But he (Rahul) did not turn up and instead police detained us saying it was to prevent any untoward incident," AAP leader Raghav Chadha claimed, adding, besides him, Dilip Pandey and Sanjay Singh were also detained.
They were later released, he said.
