Retired Brigadier Arun Kasta, his son Lt Col Arjun Kasta and son-in-law Major Rahul Palak, all from Gurgaon, were sent to 14 days judicial custody by Duty Magistrate Jarnail Singh today after they were produced amid tight security.
The cause of the scuffle, that took place late on Friday night, was a "minor collision" between the vehicles of the couple and the army officers, police said.
The army officers were on their way back to Lt Col Kasta and Major Rahul's official residence at Mamun cantonment here after a dinner when their vehicle collided with the vehicle of the couple at Dalhousie road here and a spat ensued, police said.
Kapoor and his friend Vinay Kumar, who were travelling in a car, intervened in the matter, police said, adding that the army officers, who were accompanied by two women, allegedly entered into a scuffle with Anil, who then fell on the ground.
