Three boys, between 10 years and 12 years, drowned while bathing in a river in Bihar's Begusarai district today, police said.
The boys drowned in the 'Burhi Gandak' river near 'Katarmala Rajpur Ghat' under the jurisdiction Dandari police station, the police said.
The deceased were identified as 10-year-old Raja Kumar, 11-year-old Ankit Kumar and 12-year-old Roshan Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Balia police station, Abhishek said, adding that all the three were resident of Navtolia Katarmala village of the district.
Raja Kumar and Ankit Kumar were cousins, he said.
The bodies were fished out from the river with the help of local divers and sent to a hospital for post-mortem examination, the SHO said.
