12 persons, including the driver were inside the vehicle when the incident occurred due to short circuit.
"11 friends had come here from Jodhpur to visit a temple in Tehla area. They were going to another temple where they had planned to have food but the bus caught fire within minutes of their departure," the police said.
Hariom Sen, Bhuria Sen (both aged 22) and Deepak Prajapat (25) could not leave the bus and were burnt alive while others managed to jump out of the vehicle. The condition of the injured is stable, they said.
In another road mishap in Dausa district, two policemen were injured when a speeding van hit them late last night. Head Constable Rajkumar and Constable Manoj are being treated in Jaipur, they added.
