The incident took place at Dharhara village as three children, identified as Puja Kumari (8), Vikash Kumar (5) and Ramdarash Yadav (11) met with a watery grave after slipping into deep water of a pond while taking bath, Mairwa police station in-charge Mithilesh Mishra said.
The bodies were fished out and handed over to the family for last rites following post-mortem, he said.
