Three contract killers held with weapons

Three contract killers of an inter-state gang were arrested today with weapons from the Mufassil police station area of Bihar's Rohtas district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, a special police team arrested the three contract killers identified as Rambabu Yadav alias Anup Sigh, Rajnikant Singh alias Krishna Singh and Bhola Kumar from Kanchanpur four-lane road, while they were planning to carry out a major crime, Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandan Kumar said.
The cops seized two country-made pistols, eight ammunition, three mobile phones and two motorcycles from the trio, he said.
These contract killers used to carry out murders in other states for money, which used to get transferred to their bank accounts from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, the SP said adding they were also wanted in abduction and murder of five children among two dozen cases registered against them in Bhojpur district.

Their criminal records in other states was being ascertained, he added.
