The corporation said in a press release that Shailesh Patil (MNS), Manohar Salvi (NCP, a former Mayor) and Ram Egde (Shiv Sena) were disqualified by the Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal under the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act's section 10(1)(d).
The order followed final hearing of show-cause notices issued to the three corporators in the Commissioner's chamber yesterday.
While Patil had carried out unauthorised construction on his own land, Egde had purchased an illegally built house in his wife's name. Salvi was accused of preventing a demolition squad of TMC from pulling down an illegal structure in his ward and assaulting an assistant municipal commissioner.
