66-year-old Keshri Prasad, a resident of NRI city Greater Noida, who was going to New Delhi railway station was killed after being allegedly hit by a tanker last night near Sector 126 area, police said.
His wife Venna and two acquaintances -- Manoj Tyagi (38) and Gaurav(21) -- were accompanying him in a cab for help and were to return after dropping him at the station.
When their cab reached Sector 126 it broke down and the driver asked them to hire another taxi.
Keshri died on the spot while Manoj and Gaurav got critically injured and were rushed to a hospital where they were declared brought dead, they added.
While Veena and the cab driver, who remained inside the car, were unhurt, the driver of the tanker, which overturned after the collision, was also injured, police said.
