Bhagirathi Barik (45) of Brahmanisahi village, Sambunath Lenka (40) of Tentulimati village were killed on the spot when they were struck by lightning while working in their paddy field.
Another person at Talapada village in Khatapada police station identified as Naba Mahalik was also killed on the spot when lighting struck him.
Ranjita Parida of Soro block received burn injuries by lightning and has been admitted to a local hospital, sources said.
