Ghulam Nabi Bhat alias "Setha Kala" of Mohalla Khawaja Sahib and Naveed Manzoor Najar alias "Babloo Nakwoor" of Iqbal Colony were arrested from Baramulla town and booked under stringent NDPSA, a police spokesman said.
He said both the arrested persons were "notorious" drug peddlers and have been sent to Kathua jail in Jammu region.
In a stern warning, the spokesman said, "action will be taken against all those people who have come into the notice of police for such anti-social activities."
In a separate operation, the spokesman said another drug peddler was arrested along with codeine phosphate in Sopore township of Baramulla district.
Mehraj-ud-din Mir alias "Juja" of Adipora was arrested on a specific information near his house and 27 bottles of codeine phosphate were recovered from him, he said, adding a case under NDPS was registered against him.
