Based on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested the gamblers who had placed Rs 24,000 as stake while playing cards in the Sidhra area of Jammu district last evening, police said today.
The accused have been identified as Quresh Ahmed, Ghulam Nabi and Sohan Lal, they said.
A case under various sections of the gambling Act has been registered against the accused at Sidhra Police Post and investigations have begun, they said.
