Three held for murder of man

Thane police today claimed to have solved the murder case of 38-year-old man with the arrest of three persons.
"The victim Satish Rasal was found dead in a car on August 9 with his throat and neck slit," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Parag Manere told reporters here.
"We got information that Rasal's cousin Jaideep's wife was missing. After this, we quizzed Jaideep, who then confessed the crime," he said.
Prime accused Jaideep, his friend Chandan Gaikwad (32) and Parshuram Narayan (75) were arrested yesterday. Narayan is a retired police patil of Valavali village in neighbouring Raigadh district, the official added.

Jaideep along with Chandan allegedly stabbed Rasal to death. Jaideep and Narayan also allegedly destroyed the evidence.
A case under section 302 (murder) of IPC was registered then and investigations are on, police said.
