"Two property dealers, Deepak Sharma and Rinku Diwan have alleged that Satish and Devinder, who work in AAP MLA Gulab Singh's office and an associate Jagdish, were extorting money from them by saying that they will get the building from where the property dealers were operating demolished," said a senior police officer.
Deepak had allegedly been blackmailed into paying the trio Rs 1.5 lakh a few days back, he said.
Today, around 3pm, the trio came to meet Rinku and asked him for money. They got into an altercation and Satish and Jagdish were caught while Devinder managed to flee in the Innova in which the trio had come, said the officer.
Police said a revolver was also found with Jagdish, who claims to be an ex-serviceman.

Police is scanning the CCTV footgae to gain clues about Devinder and has formed teams to serach for him.
The police is also verifying whether there was any association between the MLA and the accused, added the officer.
Gulab Singh who is AAP MLA from Matiala and co-incharge of Gujrat affairs of the party, admitted his association with Satish and Devinder but claimed that his name was unnecessarily being dragged in the matter.
"I know Satish since he worked for me during elction. He would sometimes drop in at the party office. I don't know what Satish was up to these days. Devinder used to drive my car occasionally and on the day of the incident, he had dropped off Satish and Jagdish midway. He was unaware of what these people were upto," said Singh.
