Three injured by rabid dog in Muzaffarnagar school

Three persons were injured in an attack by a rabid dog at a government school in Vehalna village here, police said today.
The incident occurred when the dog entered the primary school and injured three persons, including two children and a teacher, they said, adding, the injured were later administered anti-rabies injections at a hospital.
Meanwhile, rabies cases are on the rise in Shamli district.
At least 147 patients approached the Shamli government health centre yesterday alone and were administered anti-rabies injections, pharmacist of the health centre, Sanjiv Kumar said.
