Three persons were killed and as many injured on their way to Bihar when the jeep they were travelling in allegedly dashed into a stationary truck here, police said today.
The accident took place last night in Salarpur village under the limits of Bhanwarkol police station, they said.
"The deceased, all resident of Bihar's Bhojpur district, have been identified as Santosh Kumar Singh (35), Vikas Singh (36) and Ankit Kumar Singh (23). Besides, three others suffered injuries and were hospitalised," Bhanwarkol police station Inspector Surendra Pandey said.
He added that the accident took place when the jeep occupants were returning to Bihar.
