Three killed as bus rams into lorry

Three persons were killed today when a bus hit a stationary lorry near Piduguralla town here, police said.
The incident took place in the wee hours when the bus driver felt asleep and rammed into the lorry, stationed at the road margin, sub-inspector of Piduguralla Police Station, Mohammad Rafi said.
The bus, belonging to one Vinayaka Travels, was travelling from Hyderabad to Nellore.
Two of the deceased were identified as Gorripati Venkamma (62), Gorripati Kameswaramma (68), while identity of the third person was yet to be established, the SI said.
Four others, who received minor injuries, were taken to Guntur General hospital for treatment, he added.
