Three killed as car falls into gorge in Joshimath

Three persons including two women were killed and two other injured when their car fell into a deep gorge in Joshimath area of Chamoli district today.
There were five persons travelling in the car when it met with the accident near Garudganga on Badrinath National Highway, the District Disaster Management Centre here said.
A disaster relief team rushed to the spot after being informed of the mishap and conducted relief and rescue operation with the help of locals.
Three persons were killed on the spot whereas a woman and a teenage boy were seriously injured in the accident.
They have been admitted in the district hospital.

All occupants of the car hailed from Kimana village of Joshimath.
