"Prophet Mohammed emphasized on hardwork, good deeds and leading a simple life. Let us strive to follow the principles laid by the Holy Prophet, spread harmony and happiness and lead a humble and noble life", Rao said in a Raj Bhavan release.
"On the holy occasion of Meelad-un-Nabi, I convey my heartiest greetings to all my Muslim brethren", he said.
Chief Minister O Panneerselvam in his greetings recalled the services provided by the AIADMK government for the benefit of the Muslim community.
"I assure that the services provided by the Government for the benefit of the Muslim society will continue in future. Let there be peace and brotherhood prevail on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed..", he said.
PMK Leader S Ramadoss, MDMK Chief Vaiko also extended their greetings on the occasion.
