Three killed as private bus runs into truck

Three persons were killed after a speeding private luxury bus coming from Hyderabad hit a truck near here this morning, police said.
The accident took place on the national highway between Kodikonda check post and Koduru of Anantapur district around 6.30 pm, they said.
A volvo bus belonging to Omer Travels coming from Hyderabad and heading to Bengaluru hit the lorry in a bid to overtake it.
Six other passengers in the bus were injured, they said adding that the driver of the volvo bus fled from the spot.
