Three killed in road accident in HP

Three persons were today killed when the car in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge on Banni Mata road in Bharmour tribal area of Chamba district, police said.
The deceased have been identified as driver Manpreet (40), a resident of Rakkar Colony Una district, Jagdish Chand (42), resident of village Hat (Durgathi) Chamba district and Joginder Singh whose antecedents are yet to be verified, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), police headquarters Bir Bahadur said.
The bodies have been retrieved from the nullah with the help of the locals and sent to a hospital for post-mortem, he said.

A case has been registered to ascertain the cause of accident, the DSP said.
