The 5802 Kharagpur-Hatia passenger hit a vehicle while it was crossing an unmanned level crossing near Kotshila at around 5 pm killing three persons and injuring one person, Station Manager of Purulia Railway station Amitava Majumdar said.
The seriously injured have been rushed to a hospital in Jamshedpur, he added.
