Three killed, two injured in road accident near Rajgarh

Three persons were killed and two others critically injured when a car in which they were travelling rolled down into a deep gorge near Chogtali village, under Rajgarh sub division, about 125 km from here today.
The occupants of the car who were part of a marriage party had left from Sher Gaon village of Rajgarh sub division for Thathrana village of Nohra Dhar sub tehsil for a wedding ceremony, DSP Yogesh Rolta today said.
After the marriage ceremony was performed, the party along with the bride and groom was returning to the Sher Gaon village this evening when the incident took place.

The car carrying the marriage party rolled into the deep gorge near Chogtali village, after the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle, eyewitnesses told local police.
The police rescued the injured occupants of the car with the help of local residents.
The critically injured Vivek, a resident of Koti village and Chander Mohan, a resident of Chabuel village, were rushed to the hospital at Rajgarh while Sunil Kumar (40), Raghubir Singh (47), both residents of Sher Gaon village and Naveen (23), a resident of Bhanat village, were declared brought dead by the doctors.
A case has been registered at the Rajgah police station andinvestigations are on to ascertain the cause of the accident, police said.
