Based on a specific tip-off, the cadres identified as Pandu Bhaskar, Podia Bhaskar and Raju Bhaskar were apprehended last evening from Kamaloor village under Bhansi police station limits, Dantewada Additional Superintendent of Police Gorakhnath Baghel told PTI.
They were active as janmiltia members of the maoists, he said.
Of them, Pandu was part of the maoist squad that had attacked a police party while it was ensuring security to the repairing work of the railway track, damaged by naxals, between Bhansi and Kamaloor in 2015, Baghel said.
The two other rebels were allegedly involved in the murder of Suresh Tamo who was Sarpanch of Badekameli village in 2013, he said.
Besides, all of them were allegedly involved in incidents like murder, attacks on police party, damaging roads and railway tracks besides arranging meeting of their senior leaders in Bhansi area, the ASP said.
