Three Maoists killed in encounter on Telangana-C'garh border

Three cadres of the banned CPI (Maoist) including two women were killed in an exchange of fire between the ultras and the security forces in a forest along Telangana-Chhattisgarh border today, police said.
A senior police officer said it was joint operation of Greyhounds (anti-Naxal force of Telangana police) and Chhattisgarh police.
The encounter took place at around 3.45 pm near Jinipa under Tarlaguda police station limits of Bijapur district.
Apart from the bodies, police recovered five weapons from the spot. The dead rebels were yet to be identified.
None of the security personnels were injured.
