Three militants killed in Pak encounter

Three militants belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban were killed today in an encounter with the police in Pakistan's commercial hub of Karachi.
Police said the three men belonged to the TTP and were engaged in terrorist activities.
SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam told reporters that the three were killed when police held a search operation in Mauripur graveyard on a tip off.
"The three militants opened fire on the search party but were killed in the exchange of gunfire," Aslam said.
