The bodies of Prahul, Kushal and Meet were spotted by locals this morning following which they informed the Palghar district police.
On August 25, a missing complaint about three students was filed with the Virar police. Today they received messages about the trio being traced near their school.
However, it was not known whether the victims suffered any injuries as investigations are still underway, police said. Further details are awaited.
