The trio, identified as Dashrath Mandavi, Rajkumar Mandavi and Laxman Mandavi, all residents of Kanker were arrested yesterday from their native place, Raipur Superintendent of Police OP Pal told PTI.
Forty seven live cartridges, gelatins, detonators and Rs 11,500 cash were recovered from their possession, he said.
The conduits were allegedly involved in the movement of cash, supplying essential commodities to Naxals inside core forest, besides accompanying senior cadres during their travel in several parts of the region, Pal said.
With this arrest, a total of 17 Naxal couriers, including two prominent businessmen who were a part of the urban channel of the outlawed CPI(Maoist), have been nabbed in the state in the past two months.
