Three more police circles created in Muzaffarnagar

The Uttar Pradesh government has created three more posts of police circle officer and deputed three Deputy SPs in riot-affected Muzaffarnagar, said an official today.
Senior Superintendent of Police of Muzaffarnagar H N Singh told reporters here today that Sunil Kumar, Sanjive Kumar and Subodh Kumar have been posted as circle officers in the district.
They have been alloted New Mandi, Fugana and Bhopa, he added.
Comunal clashes took place last month in Muzaffarnagar and its adjoining areas in which 62 people were killed and over 40,000 people displaced.
