Three nabbed for extortion attempt
The police said the trio - Amar Kalita, Roopjyoti Baisya and Nitul Das - were involved in sending notes to people demanding money.
They used to send the extortion notes in the name of a fake outfit.
They were picked up this morning from differnt places in Sualkuchi town. A number of extortion notes and a note pad have been seized from them.
