Three Nepalese mountaineers have died while climbing Mount Himlung in Manang district, officials said today.
Those killed in the incident were identified as Tendi Sherpa, Pasang Sherpa and Kaji Sherpa, officials of the Tourism Ministry said.
They had gone missing after an avalanche some days ago.
Though a helicopter was sent to the base camp yesterday to airlift the bodies and bring them to the capital, it was unable to return due to bad weather.
The bodies are kept at Himlung Base Camp.
