Three of family injured in firing for opposing eve-teasing

Three members of a family, including a woman, were injured after they were fired upon for allegedly opposing eve-teasing in Sujru village, police said today.
According to police, the accused were involved in eve-teasing of a woman from the victims' family on Friday. The family members opposed the act after which the accused retaliated yesterday by opening firing on them, they said.
The injured have been identified as - Shahnawaz, Bilal, and Hasiba - who were shifted to hospital last night, police said.
Police have registered cases against seven accused - Nawab, Vakil, Dillu, Shahnwaz, Alim, Zulfikar, and Kaleem - and have arrested them, they said.
