Three of family killed in road accident

Four persons, including three members of a family, were killed and 15 others injured when a vehicle carrying them rammed into a truck on the NH 34 in Malda district, police said today.
The Farakka-bound vehicle crashed into the lorry, killing two persons on the spot near Baishnabnagar police station late last night.
Of the 17 injured, admitted to Malda Sadar hospital, two died this morning. Condition of five was serious.
The deceased include Meean Mondal (35), her daughter Juhi (14) and son Sabyasachi (12), police said.
