Three persons die of malaria, eight others taken ill

Civil Surgeon Vijay Kumar Singh today said Ranjit Bind (15), Lootan Bind (30) and Ajay Bind (25) died over the past three days of malaria.

They were afflicted with the disease in Jharkhand's Giridih district where they were working as labourers, he said.

Eight other persons were undergoing treatment at government hospitals for malaria, Singh said.
