The three identified as Salim (32), Azim (23) and Mushir (31), were wanted for several cases of robbery in east Delhi and had been evading the police for months, said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav.
On November 20, the police received a tip-off about the trio and nabbed them from near Sarai kale Khan ISBT. During interrogation, it emerged that the gang was being led by Salim, said Yadav.
Their associate Mushir has worked as an accountant with different traders in Ghazipur Mandi and Paharganj area. He then went to Saudi Arabia for about a year and later joined Salim to earn easy money.
He used to give information about the movement of traders and Salim would hatch the plan to rob them, police added.
