Police said the accident occurred when the bus hit the auto-rickshaw while taking a turn at Taltala Minichi under Minakha police station.
The passengers of the auto-rickshaw, including a woman, was among those killed.
The injured were sent to a hospital at Basirhat.
The driver of the bus, which was travelling from Dhamakali to Malncha, was arrested, the police said.
