Three persons with explosives apprehended

Three persons, including two women, were apprehended with explosives on them at Diphu Railway station in Assam's Karbi Anglong district, the police said.
The police during routine check picked up the trio identified as Thanga Mizo, his wife Opoi Mizo and another woman Rody Parate.
The police seized 27 packets of gelatine, containing 648 sticks, and nine coils, about 90 metres, of fused wire, sources said.
