Three policemen injured in militant attack in Kulgam

Three policemen were injured in a militant attack in Qazigund area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district this evening, police said here.
Militants opened fire on a police party at Nawa Chowgam village in Qazigund area, 75 kms from here, a police official said.
The injured have been identified as Head Constable Manzoor Ahmad and constable Mohammad Ashraf and Mohammad Yaqoob.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an operation to track down the assailants, the official added.
