The minors managed to dodge the staff of the juvenile home falling under Sadar Bazar police station on Wednesday morning, Deputy SP Anil Yadav said.
"The hunt is on to nab all the three juveniles who are still out of the police's reach," he said.
"An FIR has also been lodged against Juvenile home employee Rajan Singh as prima facie for he appears guilty in this case", the Superintendent of Juvenile home Mr Sriram Verma said.
Another FIR has been filed against the absconding accused, identified as Bunti, Shyam and Lokesh.
The third undertrial Bunti was booked for motorcycle theft and possessing a country made pistol, police said.
