Three UP gangsters nabbed after encounter

Three alleged gangsters of Western UP, wanted for murder of a UP Police constable, were arrested after a brief encounter with a joint team of UP and Haryana police near Taksal Road in New Ashok Nagar area here.
The accused Shadar Khan alias Rehan Khan, Sunder and Krishan Kumar, were involved in several cases of loot and murder. They belonged to the Anil Dujana and Randeep Bhati Gang, police said.
"The Panipat Police had contacted Delhi Police after arresting a dreaded gangster Mehtab and reported about the presence of the trio in Delhi.
"They were involved in sensational contract killing of Harender Nagar of Dujana village in Noida. Following the tip off, a trap was laid and they were arrested by a brief encounter," said Joint Commissioner (Crime) Ravindra Yadav.

On interrogation, Shadar Khan confessed that in 2013, he along with his associates Mukim, Mehtab and Arshad, had killed UP police constable Rahul Dhaka in Saharanpur and looted his carbine.
He also accepted that about eight months ago he along with his associates had killed one Kallu using an AK-47 rifle, he added.
The long list of their crimes included murder, attempt to murder and robbery and the UP Police has announced a joint reward of Rs one lakh for their arrest, police said.
