Three women killed as SUV rams stationary truck

Three women were killed and eight others injured when an SUV carrying them rammed into a stationary truck here today.
The occupants of SUV were returning to Patiala when the accident happened near village Chourwala on Sirhind-Patiala road, police said.
All the three women died instantly, police said adding the truck driver had been arrested.
