A three-year-old boy was dragged from outside his house and killed by a leopard near here in North Maharashtra, a police official said today.
The child, a resident of village Mheluske in Dindori taluka of the district, was dragged by the wild cat yesterday at around 8 pm, while he was playing in front of his house, the official said.
The leopard took the boy to nearby sugarcane fields, where he was found wounded by villagers.
They took the child to a government hospital at Dindori, where doctors declared him dead, the official said.
