The youths, in the age group of 17-18 years, jumped into the river near Ballan village in Hoshiarpur to take bath and were swept away in the strong currents, police said.
The district administration has deployed divers who are searching for them, they said.
They youths were identified as Arvinder Singh, Karam Singh and Surinder Singh.
