Light drizzles occurred at Pilani, Barmer and Sriganganagar due to a local upper air circulation of winds and clouds, but the maximum temperature in entire state was above 40 degrees C, a MeT official said.
Kota recorded a maximum temperature of 43.3 degrees C followed by Barmer 43.1, Chittorgarh 42.6, Churu 42.4, Sriganganagar 42 and Jaipur 41.7 degrees C.
Dust storms of moderate intensity swept across the state capital affecting normal life and road traffic this afternoon, the officer said.
MeT office, in a forecast, said that dust storms or thundershowers with rain may occur at isolated places in the state during next 24 hours.
