Hundreds of Tibetans here today took out a march to commemorate the anniversary of Tibetan revolution against China in Lhasa in 1959.
They gathered at the Tibetan market here and held a procession from the market to Tallital via the Mall Road and back raising slogans for liberty of Tibet.
The demonstrators also demanded the release of Tibetan religious leader Panchen Lama from Chinese captivity.
They later prayed at the Gandhi statue here and concluded the procession by singing the National Anthems of India and Tibet.
The march was organised by the Tibetan Youth Congress.
