Tiger drags youth into forest in Sunderbans

A tiger pounced on a youth, who was catching crabs in the Sunderbans, and dragged him into the forests today, a Forest department official said.
Three persons were catching crabs near the Holakhali creek when suddenly a tiger pounced upon 23-year-old Dinesh Mondal and dragged him into the jungle at around noon, the officer said.
The other two persons escaped unhurt and informed Forest department office at Sajnekhali about the incident.
A forest department team has launched a search operation in the area to find Dinesh, they said.
Dinesh is a resident of Gosaba area of South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
